Command line utility to speak directly to the Citadel server
sendcommand [-h server_dir] [-w watchdog_timeout] [server command]
sendcommand connects to the Citadel Server running from the specified directory and sends it the specified server command. The command will be executed with the highest possible privilege level.
Switch Result ------ ------ -h Connect to a Citadel Server running from a different directory. -w Set a watchdog timer to exit if the specified time (in seconds) elapses.
sendcommand is part of the Citadel Server installation, so by default it will connect to the directory from which both programs were compiled to run.
If your intention is to perform administrative tasks, sending protocol commands directly to the Citadel Server is probably not what you want to do. You will probably have better luck using the command line client.
